The video below is from 2017, when I was just starting to showcase the Motivated Life brand. I share this because since then... I've produced dozens of media projects that includes short films, documentaries, commercials, podcasts and even music. I sold merchandise to people around the country without really knowing anything about online sales. I acted in a local movie called "The Book of Judas" by Anthony Townsend. I also started several ventures and even completed a commercial real estate development program.
In addition, I have supported so many people via training programs, consulting, being an ear to hear and by being involved in my local community and even spreading my wings outwards to support national organizations such as the National Black MBA Association. I have also continued the traditon of supporting entrepreneurs and community organizatons with my talents in grant writing, public policy administration, media production, technology, business consulting, curriculumn development and business coaching.
As we all continue this life, we do not get to escape the many bumps in the road. I've had my share for sure. From battling employment discrimination, police discrimination, a car accident, nerve damage in my back and leg, post-concussion syndrome, death in the family, the COVID-19 pandemic and various government administrations...I am still here dreaming, learning, doing, growing and sharing.
All in all...we are blessed to live this life and we never know where our ideas, hardwork and faith will take us...especially if we never get off the couch and make things happen regardless to how we may feel.
So I started Motivated Life to help inspire people to Live a Motivated Life while understanding it takes more than just motivation. It takes discipiline, consistency, hard work, faith, passion and community to achieve your dreams. When you look at the logo you will see the M is for motivation, but the L is made up of the building blocks of life that sets the foundation for success.
